It's not a good situation when you try to turn on your car and nothing happens. The one piece of good news is that if your battery is dead, it could be jump-started with another vehicle.
You'll need a set of jumper cables and the other vehicle to be parked right next to you. Attach a red clip to your battery's positive terminal and the other red clip to the other vehicle's positive terminal. Then, attach a black clip to the other vehicle's negative terminal. At CHRISTIAN MOTORS, INC. in Fertile, MN, we think this next part is the most important step. Attach the remaining black clip to an unpainted metal surface on your car.
Turn on the other vehicle and let it run for about a minute. Then, turn on your vehicle. It should be able to borrow enough energy to get started. Finally, remove the clips in the opposite order from which you attached them.
